Tesamorelin freeze-dried 10mg vial (Fat loss)
$85.00
How it works
Mimics GHRH: Tesamorelin is an analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It binds to GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary gland, which stimulates the natural synthesis and release of growth hormone (GH).
Reduces visceral fat: The increased GH levels, primarily through the intermediary insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), promote the breakdown of fat (lipolysis). Tesamorelin specifically targets and reduces visceral fat, which is the fat deep within the abdominal area linked to metabolic and cardiovascular issues.
Improves metabolic markers: In clinical trials, tesamorelin has been shown to improve lipid profiles, including reducing triglycerides. However, it generally does not affect overall glucose metabolism or HbA1c levels in a clinically significant way.
Off-label uses
While approved for HIV-related lipodystrophy, tesamorelin is sometimes prescribed off-label for other conditions:
Age-related abdominal obesity.
Metabolic syndrome.
Nonalcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD).
Cognitive health.
